Membership
CIRenew membership is open to the public. Any individual or organization interested in transforming the energy basis of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket is encouraged to join. As as CIRenew member, you also join the local chapter of the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA), the leading U.S. regional membership organization focused on promoting the understanding, development, and adoption of energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies and green building practices (membership form).

Benefits
CIRenew members support community-based efforts to increase energy efficiency and promote renewable energy in the Cape & Islands region and beyond. As a member, you also will receive
• updates on CIRenew and NESEA programs, projects, and activities
• invitations to CIRenew and NESEA events, including regular chapter meetings as well as public forums, workshops, tours, etc.

• subscription to the Northeast Sun, NESEA's magazine (published twice yearly)
• knowledge that you are contributing to coordinated efforts to accelerate progress toward a sustainable energy future

• opportunity to help plan and implement local programs, projects, and activities

CIRenew chapter meetings, open to the public, are held at varying locations about once a month. These events bring the CIRenew community together around a specific topic while providing opportunities to share experiences and learn about local programs, projects, and activities. Times, dates, and locations for these and other CIRenew meetings may be found on the Events page.

The benefits of NESEA membership are described in more detail here. Depending on membership type, benefits include discounts at NESEA events and opportunities for businesses to secure a listing in NESEA's Sustainable Green Pages and discounted advertisements in NESEA publications.
